This 15,700 gallon tank car is built to 286,000 lbs gross rail load for the transportation of molten sulfur and other like commodities and meets the AAR 211A100W1 specification. The car is completely insulated with 6-inch fiberglass insulation between the tank and the jacket and is fitted with 16 run exterior heater coils. Various options for loading/unloading valve configurations are available depending on the service requirements.
